You crafty little...

So as some of you may already now, my cousin is quite gifted in the art of crafts.  She also has a blog as well entitled,Signed with an Owl , if you are not familiar you should definitely check it out. Go ahead, get your craft on.  She gave me and my sons some super cute Christmas gifts that I just have to share.

Here's a group shot

There's "Green Lantern" for O, "Sir Tophamhatt" for Q, and my alter ego "Captain Sarcasm", which if you talk to me for more than five minutes you will totally understand.

Here's some more pics of her.
Showing her superhero costume under the awesome coat.

Look at all that hair!  I've already braided it like a thousand times!

This character came about after a conversation I had with my cuz where basically I was complaining about all the stuff I had to get done and how little time I had to do so.  My cuz being super nice and supportive said "I don't know how you do it all! Ya know what I think? I think you are a superhero in disguise!" and me being myself and unable to fully accept a compliment said "Oh yeah I totally am, my superhero name is "Captain Sarcasm".  And it's been a running joke ever since.  I loved this gift from the second I opened it because, come on, isn't it obvious? She's a crafting god, so of course it looks amazing, and it's also heartfelt as well, which are the best gifts ever. Am I right or am I right?

O loves his "Green Lantern" to pieces and hasn't stopped playing with it.  As we speak (read? write? whatever) he is flying him around the room and acting out a rescue scene.

Q literally giggled with delight when he opened up his "Sir Tophamhatt" (by the way, I have absolutely NO idea if that's how you spell his name or not, so if it's wrong, give me a break, it's a long, weird, name okay?!) If you know anything about the "Thomas the Tank Engine" series "Sir Tophamhatt" is the comptroller of the railway (aka the boss).  Q wasted no time having his new toy boss his trains around.  I often heard him saying "Now take these milk crates to Farmer McCall's right away. DON'T cause confusion and delay" with his new toy.  (BIG deal on the "Thomas" series to cause 'confusion and delay', its like you might as well be the devil)

After a long day of playing the trio takes a nap.

I love my cuz, she's all kinds of awesome!
